Today, our Artistic Director Rachael, will deliver our first participatory workshop for Live Age. We have 11 people from all over the city, and aged over 60, visiting the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, to take part in our new ‘Moving Stories’ Project. After getting to know each other and experiencing a tour of the museum, the group will explore, discuss and find their own connections to the history and art. With a short cream tea interval, the day will include moving, talking, expressing, writing, drawing and sharing. We can’t wait!
The ‘Meet Me at Live Age’ programme has been made possible via the New Vic Theatre’s Arts Council England Celebrating Age Fund, in partnership with Keele University and Age UK.
