Zoe is a professional arts marketer having worked across art forms for the past 12 years. Having started her career in the visual arts and heritage sector following her degree in Art History and MA Museum Studies, Zoe worked for 7 years in Wolverhampton as the Head of Audiences leading a diverse team and supporting marketing, business development and fundraising across four venues.
As the Head of Marketing at The Lowry, Zoe led on developing the dance strategy to cultivate new younger audiences for contemporary dance as part of The Lowry’s role as a centre for dance in the North West. She has lead a number of large scale campaigns for touring productions of War Horse and One Man Two Guvnors for the National Theatre.
Most recently Zoe was the general manager of the Mitchell Arts Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, which included supporting the development of the dance network in the City. In her role she supported FRONTLINEdance with in-kind rehearsal space, and advocated on our behalf.
As a freelance marketing professional, she led the national marketing and PR campaign for the 2015 British Ceramics Biennial, attracting 35,000 visitors to Stoke-on-Trent over 6 weeks. Zoe currently works for The Audience Agency as the Consultancy Manager for the UK, overseeing a team of cultural researchers and consultants.
