FRONTLINEdance offers a range of training and development opportunities. Since we began we have provided opportunities for disabled and no-disabled dance artist to train and shadow us which has often led to employment. We have provided some artists with their first professionally paid jobs and often been a stepping stone for progressing into further employment.

We recognise that disabled dance artist don’t have the same access routes into dance as their non-disabled peers and we want to help to address this and this is how we are going to do so:

We are looking for emerging dance artists based in the West Midlands to support them in their next steps. This could be as a performer, choreographer, workshop facilitator (and all three!) , or in arts administration and management/producing.

Please get in touch if you are an emerging dance artist who is interested in our support or partner who would like to support us in this initiative.

Access Routes into dance

Elevate funding from Arts Council England and a grant for Esmee Fairbairn has meant that we are now able to stream line our community classes.

We run session for a variety of needs and disabilities and accommodate everyone – making us fully inclusive. This also means that we can encourage those with a natural flare and enthusiasm for dance to train and take their next steps towards developing towards a career in dance.
